My name’s Liam Murphy,

I’m a freelance photographer based in Meath / Dublin.

I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember, from early days as a child, to going to gigs as a music fan and snapping away on my phone — to now, where I get to call this a job.

I was awarded News Photographer of the Year at the 2025 National Student Media Awards.

To date, my work has been published in several publications and sites, including The Business Post, Hot Press Magazine, RTÉ, The Journal, The Irish Independent, Kilkenny People, The Irish Times, and The Guardian.

Past clients include Dublin City Council, Conradh na Gaeilge, St Patrick’s Festival Kilkenny, Raidió Rí-Rá, Higher Education Authority, Scoil Mhuire Trim, ShowTops, RCSI, Solstice Arts Centre, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, and TU Dublin.
